Our Approach

Curriculum

A play-based, student-centered program that helps each child build confidence, express creativity, and grow into a confident learner.

We understand that many of our students are venturing out of the safety of their families for the first time into a school community.

Our goal is to support this transition while helping each child build confidence, express creativity, and develop critical thinking skills. Each classroom is arranged with small, well-defined centers to promote a sense of security and allow a child to explore and grow.

What We Nurture

Three skills at the heart of every day

Confidence

A secure, welcoming environment helps each child feel safe enough to try, explore, and take the next step on their own.

Creativity

Themed studies and open-ended play invite children to express their ideas and discover the joy of making something their own.

Critical Thinking

Hands-on, interactive activities encourage curiosity, problem-solving, and the confidence to ask “why?”

Play-Based Framework

At the heart of our program: the Creative Curriculum

Daily classroom activities engage young minds through hands-on, interactive learning experiences that help them be their best self. The Creative Curriculum is a play-based framework designed to support a child’s individual growth. Its lessons ignite the learner’s natural curiosity through unstructured as well as purposeful play using different themed studies — introduced a month at a time to allow natural creativity and interest to flourish.

Confidence

Aligned with New Jersey’s early learning guidelines, our curriculum comprehensively addresses all relevant standards while prioritizing the unique needs and interests of our students — so children are well-prepared for entry into elementary school.

Year-round teacher development

Year-round in-service and teacher development training ensure that our teachers and staff have the support they need to deliver an exceptional, student-centered educational experience.
